Service Control is committed to providing the very best training to its staff. As a company we provide all staff with an ongoing programme enabling them to keep up to date with new technology and developments within the sector.

Service Control's engineering apprentices all follow traditional training schemes such as ONC and HNC. On completion there is also the opportunity to complete a degree course. Applicants are advised they should have obtained a minimum of six A to C grades at GCSE including Maths, English and Science.

 

We currently have opportunities in the following areas:

 

Electrical Technicians

 

ONC/HNC standard. Primarily having worked in the industrial sector i.e. automotive, steel. Candidates should have served a traditional apprenticeship. Required to solve diagnostic problems, understand schematic drawings. An understanding of PLC would be advantageous.

 

JIB approved electricians

 

Energetic and motivated electricians are required for ongoing contracts. These are permanent positions and not standard contracting terms and conditions.

 

Mechanical Technicians

 

ONC/HNC standard. Applicants should have experience of both heavy and light industry. Having completed a traditional apprenticeship in the mechanical discipline. Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics systems would be an advantage and diagnostic competence a must.
